Staying on Track

It’s already January 6th, almost an entire week into the new year. How are your goals and resolutions going? Are you still on track? If you’ve already given up, it’s time to get going again. Just because you’ve fallen down doesn’t mean you can’t get back up. Here are a few words to help you stay on track:

  • “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matt. 7:7)
  • “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9)
  • “For  a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked stumble in time of calamity” (Proverbs 24:16)

Stumbling doesn’t mean failure. You can still get back on track. If you’re spiritually off track, you have a God who is full of mercy, grace, and love. Talk to Him today and ask Him for strength to keep going! It’s a long year ahead of us and we are just getting started. Get back up and keep going!

Dear Lord, thank you for a new year. Please help us stay on track spiritually and remember that you are the source of our strength and courage. Help us when we stumble. Be there to pull us up. Thank you for your love, mercy, and grace. Amen.
